The Against All Odds Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded by former Diamondbacks player Shea Hillenbrand and his wife Jessica in 2007 as a vehicle to give back to the community that they love. 

Our Mission: We are built on a strong work ethic that creates a safe environment for challenged children, connecting them with and educating them about abused and neglected animals while inspiring productive life values. 

Our Vision: The foundation provides positive educational and recreational opportunities to children with special needs, whether those needs are physical, emotional or financial. The children are invited to participate on site at Marley Farms in a variety of activities, often centered around the care and feeding of rescued animals. 

Against All Odds rescues many different animals from bad situations or certain death. Upon being rescued, the animals receive medical care, training, and plenty of TLC to prepare them for adoption. Animal adoptions through the Against All Odds Foundation are ongoing throughout the year. Our goal is to match animal with the right family to ensure a happy outcome for everyone. Volunteers who work with the animals on a daily basis are available to speak with you and answer any questions you have on a particular animal currently in the rescue. They can discuss which animals have the temperament and activity level appropriate for your family. All of our adoption animals are eager to start their new lives with a family who will love and appreciate them.
